I recently moved to Boise and found Kelly (Pilates Boise) by searching for instructors certified by the Pilates Method Alliance. To my surprise, she was the only certified instructor in southern Idaho. I have been practicing with Kelly now for 3 months 1-2 times per week in her studio and she has exceeded my expectations.

She takes full advantage of utilizing her Pilates equipment to ensure a unique and balanced full-body workout each session. (Reformer, Tower, Barrel, Chair and other accessories) Kelly works with me to ensure that the exercises are appropriate for my skill level yet challenges me each session and is meticulous about proper form. I am so pleased with the progress I have made in our time together. I have gained strength, balance and flexibility.

Kelly is someone who I would classify as a “lifetime learner.” It is such a pleasure to work with someone who is passionate about continuing her knowledge of the body, holistic fitness and nutrition. I leave my sessions feeling stronger and more confident knowing that I did something good for my body.

" I love the way I feel after a private session with Pilates Boise - Long and Strong! At first I was a bit nervous to try something new but Kelly walked me through the practice every step of the way. What an accomplishment I felt as I mastered more and more of the classical Pilates exercises. Pilates Boise's low impact, high results focus has improved my strength, flexibility, posture, and agility in just a couple months. I've also noticed that Pilates work has kept some of my common complaints; sore back and leg muscles to a minimum. "I have been doing yoga for years, but now I have been reformed….Kelly provides individual Pilates workouts.  She has a great understanding of  Pilates.  Kelly is always changing the workouts to progress to a more challenging level or adapting if you have a problem area. The workout area is quiet and relaxing.  You are not distracted by a large class.  Kelly has a calm reassuring voice, which helps when you are trying to maintain focus on certain muscle groups.  She is quick to remind you about correct posture and breathing techniques.  I have total confidence in the movements she insists my body can do.  The workouts are based on your personal strength and capabilities.  It is not a competition.
